Agent Todo Lists
Sometimes, large tasks call for more structured workflows. To help keep agents on track, we've introduced Todo lists, allowing agents to maintain a structured checklist per chat so multi-step work stays visible as it progresses.
Todo lists are also made available to scheduled task runs, so tasks can handle larger, more complex workflows while remaining focused on the current step.
New Supported Languages
We want to make Aera as accessible as possible to everyone. To do so, we've built in support for Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi, Russian, French, German, Chinese (Simplified), and Japanese across both the website and the Aera browser.
You can manage your language preferences through Settings > Language, or by navigating to Chromium settings, and choosing one of the supported languages from there.
Note: we are committed to expanding Aera to support as many languages as possible. If you would like to see your language supported, or if you notice issues or gaps in our translations, join our Discord community! We'd love to hear from you and implement your feedback.
Local Model Improvements
Local models should now behave more predictably across Aera. We've made improvements to resolve a few issues that were brought to our attention involving local model usage with scheduled tasks, and within the sidebar.
Note: local models use a limited tool set, as some Aera features depend on dedicated vision models available only on subscription tiers.
Bug fixes
- Fixed unsubscribed users with local models enabled being unable to chat (idle run, no reply) after selecting a model wiped local-mode preferences.
- Fixed subagent background tabs not closing when Close background tabs when done is enabled.
- Fixed chats stalling or stopping right after context summarization on certain model providers (notably OpenAI), including on every later message in the same chat.
- Fixed the Expensive models toggle not staying off and new chats reusing stale Ultra mode settings.
- Fixed the scheduled-task model dropdown info card overlapping the menu when it opens to the left.
- Fixed phantom Free with an empty model list when logged out, before the catalog loads, or unsubscribed without local models.
